The trio walked down from the icy stairwell onto the snow coated ground. “I hate the cold,” James complained, “Absolutely hate it.” Audie followed close behind him, looking at the landscape around her. Everything was white and covered in soft snow or gleaming ice.
“I already love it here. Everything looks so beautiful, like it’s a winter wonderland!” She exclaimed in delight. She glanced over to Sparks sympathetically. His feet shuffled as he looked mostly towards the ground.
